11.28.02- site moved, new additions

Here we are at the new domain! All pages have been fine tuned and had their PHP fixed. Links page has been streamlined, the Fanfic page now hosts Cutter's excellent Utena fanfics "After (Rose and Release)" and the post-movie shortfic "Thoughts on Careening down an Exit Ramp With You." 10.6.02- DVD 4th title news

Courtesy of Anime on DVD we have the next chosen DVD title for the Black Rose Saga. "Impatience and Longing" hits shelves 1/14/03 and will contain episodes 18-20. (Thanks to Japheth Cleaver on a.f.u).

9.21.02- cast updates

Added three Black Rose profiles- Wakaba, Kanae and Keiko. Updated Saionji's with a quotation.

9.18.02- catalog updates

Added Books, Manga section, CD section, DVD section, and expanded the Jewelry section of the Catalog.

Have heard word that Enokido's newest project is the (un)acclaimed new series UFO Princess Walkure (Valkyrie)- have not seen it yet so I can't comment. I will say the -setup- sounds like pure Enokido even if the execution is poor...

9.9.02- duellists.tj news

The Utena Encyclopedia is back online no worse for wear. There was a brief period necessary to restabilize the machine; last I checked it was working fine.

In an interview with ANN Crispin Freeman, English voice of Touga, has confirmed at least one dub cast member returns: "I recorded Touga for the Black Rose Arc and I have every intention of doing him in the Apocalypse arc as well."

9.6.02- fan guide announced

Some brief notes: As of August 31st, Guardians of Order has just licensed both Slayers and Utena for Ultimate Fan Guides and RPG supplements to be released sometime in 2003. Here's the press release. Still no new news to report on the duellists.tj front, sadly. Keep checking back.

9.3.02- rose and return

Site returns...

Black Rose arc (and, I'm hearing, the rest of the series through to episode 39) have finally been licensed and will be appearing in blocks of 4 or 3 on DVD starting in November. Previous rumors of the first two discs being rereleased are FALSE.

Be-PaPas is busily at work on World of S&M. Ikuhara and Saito are definitely involved; Enokido and Hasegawa's involvements, if any, are unknown at this time.

Ikuhara will be attending Fanimecon 2003 this year.

Finally, an update on the Utena Encyclopedia situation: noderunner.net, the machine that physically houses duellists.tj as well as inverse.org, nausicaa.net, maison-otaku.net and several other domains, is physically -down- at the moment due to a dead root drive, which is why you can't get to the Encyclopedia at this time. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
